In celebration of CEC’s 30th anniversary, our CEC Centers are organizing various vibrant activities designed to engage students, teachers, staffs and well wishers of CEC at their respective CEC centres. These events, taking place at various CEC locations, offer a fantastic opportunity to commemorate three decades of fostering creativity, knowledge, and a sense of academic excellence. The events include Drawing competitions, Extempore Speech, Quiz, Singing competitions, Seminars, Presentations, Typing Competitions and various other activities.
Dipankar Dutta, the Founder of CEC Group of Institutions established the CEC brand with only two computers in the year of 1994 and there was an aim to create trained and efficient manpower in the field of Information Technology & Vocational Courses in North Eastern India. A pioneer in computer education, CEC has been shaping tech minds for 30 years. With three decades of experience, CEC offers a legacy of excellence in computer & vocational training and equipping students with the skills to thrive in the ever-evolving world of technology. Now CEC is one of the major educational institutions exclusively providing various IT and Vocational courses in the Northeastern region from the last 30 years.
Today there are about 3000+ members of the CEC parivar who are engaged in various disciplines. They are assisted by other non technical staffs who together take account of the intellectual, infrastructure and administrative needs of the institute and constitute its community. The institute conducts 30 diploma and other courses and 26 short term courses. The institute so far trained over 5,00,000 students out of which more than 3,00,000 got jobs all over India and abroad and over 100000 students are self employed. One major dimension of the institute has been its regional role, and its teaching has attracted students from the entire Northeast region. The institute has also undertaken collaborative education by some franchisees. With a network of over 175 CEC centres in the entire Northeast region CEC also started a full fledged centre at New Delhi from the year 2022. In the entire Guwahati City itself there are 34 centres of CEC. Now CEC is the only local largest network in education of this region.
One major reason behind the success achieved within this span of over three decades is the individualized attention given to the students, thus enhancing their ability to acquire and synthesize knowledge in their chosen field of studies. Another important element for the popularity of CEC courses is the economical and affordable fee structure of various courses. Established with an aim to create trained and efficient manpower in the field of information technology and vocational education, CEC has successfully carried out different courses.
Dipankar Dutta, the founder President of CEC, expressed his deep gratitude for the students, faculties, CEC Centre Directors and well wishers of CEC on this occasion. The founder of CEC spoke about the original vision for the CEC centers as a space for creativity, knowledge, and a sense of belonging. The anniversary is described as a testament to the dedication of the staff and the unwavering support of the people of this region. Gratitude was conveyed to everyone for being a part of this journey of 30 years of CEC.
